Computer & Laptop Repair Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Service

City Laptop Service Center provides computer & laptop repairs, hardware upgrades, replacements, and related services as requested by the customer. Our priority is to provide the best quality repair, service & support, but in some cases, specific results cannot be guaranteed.

2. Limitations of Service

  • Some devices may not be repairable due to age, obsolete parts, or severe hardware/software damage (e.g., motherboards, memory chips, etc.).
  • City Laptop Service Center is not responsible for any data or software loss caused by:
    • Pre-existing issues such as viruses or corrupted software
    • Hardware failure during or after service

3. Estimates & Payments

  • A cost estimate will be provided before starting work.
  • Estimates are not guaranteed — if additional issues are discovered, the customer will be contacted for approval before continuing.
  • A diagnosis fee applies to all service requests (even if):
    • The device has no fault
    • The customer cancels repair after diagnosis
    • The fault is not repairable

4. Data Responsibility

Customers are responsible for backing up all data & software before service. City Laptop Service Center will not be liable for any data or software loss during repair, upgrade, or replacement.

5. Parts & Warranty
  • Any parts used for repair/upgrade will carry the manufacturer’s or dealer’s warranty.
  • Warranty or guarantee claims must be initiated and processed directly by the customer with the respective authorized service center or dealer.
  • Our service warranty is 7 days and applies only to the specific issue we fixed.
6. Cancellations
  • Job requests can be cancelled at least 1 hour before the scheduled time without charges.
  • If cancelled within 1 hour or after technician dispatch, service charges will apply.

7. Customer Support

We value customer satisfaction and provide services in a professional and timely manner. Free remote, chat, and phone support is available for laptop/computer issues.

8. Agreement

By availing our services, customers agree to these Terms & Conditions. Customers should check if their device is still under manufacturer warranty, as some repairs may be covered free of cost.
